Paper puppetry has never had someone so zealously dedicated until Paul Palooza started exploring its rare curiosities. A very small quirky world filled with amazing creatures, unusual storylines and enchanted paperie. Puppets have mansions. Dancers are made out of paper. Animals threw massive parties. Giant sea creatures boring people into panic.

The universe of paper puppets needed someone like Paul Palooza to expose this wonderful impossibility of very handy craftwork.

Palooza felt extremely his paper puppet karma and a natural instinct to travel allowed him to discover as much as possible. His rarest discovery was really just a case of mistaken prioritized snacking. Palooza had heard of rapid pillow fighting breaking out in the Andes Mountains. Details have never been specific – but his booked plane flight didn't serve the honey roasted almonds he expected. He sorted himself out quickly onto another flight which did serve the correct delicious sweet-salty treats. But by jumping on an unknowingly smaller commuter flight Paul ended up just 2 hours east of London. "Who would have guessed that before me awaited the most prized puppet jewel – and found under a common wet tea stained cozy in Bristol!" Paul explained about discovering the White Pescao Pin of Oooral. The famous piece of puppet jewelry had been lost for 25 years due to inaccuracies in Finnish bird postage stamps. Luckily the PLOO Resolution of 1962 was quickly drawn up and a world war was avoided.

Sadly, it's been a decade since Paul Palooza disappeared off the coast of the Pupuyakarta Javanese Islands on a small surfing expedition. The mystery and void left behind caused a wave of sadness and silence within the paper puppet world.

Paper Puppet Palooza is meant to capture the essence of a man through his most memorable discoveries in paper puppetry. He was an eccentric explorer, but also a captivating showman and lover of puppets.
